Recycling - Papier Mache Bowl With Leaves

This is a bowl I made some time ago, thanks to my wonderful Papier Mache tutor Nili.
I used an old fan's cover for the base of this bowl.
I covered it with Papier Mache from both sides.
Then I covered it with small pieces of recycled paper, with natural dried leaves for decoration.
Finally, I covered it with varnish for protection.
Although It is rather large (its diameter is 44 cms) it is relatively light.
This Papier Mache bowl is all about recycling, and it's very useful.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed. Have a creative day! Dorly

איזה מקסים!!! כרגיל שוקולדית יקרה-אין על הכשרון שלך!
    שיהיה לך סופשבוע מקסים

  2. עדין מאד ויפה לטעמי. תתחדשי.

  3. I LOVE recycled projects!! This is such a unique, different and lovely project. I can think of dozens of uses for it.

Your art is so special; thanks for sharing it with us!!

  4. ...this takes me back to childhood years, making paper mache' puppet heads, where I'd stick my finger under a handkerchief (for a dress), and poke it inside the head to work the puppet.

Your large dish looks most impressive; I too love recycling and haven't tried mache' since 'forever'.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it.
